Jag was super responsive when we approached him before our trip and they tailored the whole trek to our wishes, time constraints and experience. Surya is an amazing guide, always friendly and calm and super responsible. As was the rest of the team - one cook, two kitchen assistants, a horse man, five donkeys and a horse. Amazing people (and animals) who made our trek an unforgettable experience.

In 2019 July and August. I did a solo trek in Dolpo. I am very much enjoyed my 25 day trek in Upper Dolpo. The scenery was magic and I picked a route with as many high passes as possible and the views were just magic. It was also so very nice to meet the old traditional cultures in villages and with herders. All of the staff were superb, the guide was so kind and knowledgeable, the chef made delicious food and the donkey handler and the porters were so nice and helpful. Also the contact with Jag and everything he organized to my wishes was superb. An altogether wonderful experience, I can highly recommend booking with Jag and Himalayan Companion.

We spent two and a half weeks in Nepal and Jag did an amazing job organizing our whole trip. Even though it was on short notice he made an itinerary which fulfilled and surpassed all our wishes. We spend one week trekking in the Helambu region. Thanks to our great guide Ram we had so much fun trekking there, felt always safe and even could change our route spontaneously.
The sightseeing and hotels in Kathmandu, Bhakatpur und Patan was well chosen, too. And our trip to Chitwan National park was truly amazing.
All in all we can highly recommend Jag and his company. He responded quickly to all our questions before the trip, during our time in Nepal he always checked on us and was very felexible if we wanted to change anything and he is just super friendly.

Jag with his Himalayan Companion is very well known for the Dolpo treks.
We visited Khumbu, the EBC, with his team. We were able to rely on his tips when putting together and discussing the route to the EBC. Whether it was a hotel in Kathmandu, internal flights or accommodation on the trek, everything was perfectly organized. His team (guide and porter) provided perfect support during the hike and also took the day's condition into account. They always organized good accommodation options. When the airport in Lukla was closed due to bad weather on the return journey, they organized the return journey to Kathmandu with a helicopter on the same day! Thank you, your help made the hike a great experience.
