Jag Bahadur Budha grew up in the remote mountain village of Gumbatara in the Dolpa district of West Nepal. He had completed his school level in Dolpa and moved to Kathmandu and India for higher education. With the greater passion of traveling and adventure, he had traveled from East to West Nepal.
Mr. Budha is also Anthropologist, and writer. He had written several articles in national newspaper. Mr. Budha is determined to lead the tourism industry in sustainable tourism, which emphasizes on benefits to all. Born in Dolpo, Mrs. Aangmo Rokaya has schooled in Dolpa, Nepal. She is a dedicated, straightforward, loyal, and honest person. Currently, she is looking after the office management of Himalayan Companion.
Originally from the Dolpo region of Nepal, Surya has worked as trekking guide for over 10 years and has visited Mustang region and Dolpo region several times. He has in-depth knowledge about culture, and nature of Dolpo and Musatang region. He studied in Kathmandu.
Chandesh Budha is originally from Dolpa. He is born and raised in Hu Dolpa. He lives in Hu, Dolpa. He started his career as a porter about five years, and now he is a cook in the Himalayan Companion. As he started his career as a porter he knows the Dolpo trekking routes properly. In addition, he is loyal, kind, and honesty in duty. He is always ready to help and whenever needed in during trip. With his honesty and kindness made many customer happy during the Dolpo trek.
Ram Krishna Tamang is originally from the Melamchi, Kathmandu of Nepal, Ram has started his career in trekking from porter, cook and to guide. He worked as trekking guide for over 8 years and has visited Eastern Nepal, Mustang region, Langtang region, Manaslu region and Dolpo region several times! He has done many part of GHT Nepal.
Bishnu Dangi is originally from Dolpa. He is born and raised in Dangibara village (a village 15 minutes' walk from Juphal airstrip). He also worked as his career as a porter and now he is a guide in Himalayan Companion. As he started his early career as a porter he know very well Dolpo region. In addition, he is calm, loyal, and dedicated to his duty. Treks with him makes satisfied and successful trip.
Hari Prasad Dangi (Dolpo) is originally from the Dolpa region of Nepal. He was born and raised in Dolpa, Nepal. He has worked as a trekking guide and cook for over several years and has trekked all over Nepal, including GHT. He has several years of experience in trekking in the Dolpo region.
