Overview

Saipal Base Camp Trek is a journey take into lap of Mt. Saipal which passes through the treeless landscape, beautiful villages, high land valley hidden below the glaciers and lush vegetation. As whole Saipal Base Camp Trek is a wonderful experience of sinking into least explored Western Nepal.

Mt. Saipal is the second highest peak in Western Nepal with its elevation of 7031m above sea level. Saipal Base Camp Trek is an extremely rewarding and beautiful off-the beaten-track of West Nepal. This is an easy trek for those who love to trekking Himalaya but would like to avoid high passes.  Saipal Base Camp trek is an ideal trek, which offers remote and wilderness landscape combining with cultural enrichment of western Nepal. In this trek we explore the hidden highland valleys of Humla and take you in the lap of Mt. Saipal 7031m.

Saipal Base Camp trek starts from Simikot and leads towards Karnali river bank through Thakuris, and Bhotia villages, (Dharapori, Kermi and Yalbang) by witnessing their rhythm of life. After Yalbang, the trail leads to Karang Khola valley via Sakyup La 4214m,and then we explore the this wild valley for few days. Then corssing another ridge Sakya La 4709m we enter to our awaited Rani Kharka valley, Nune Kharka and Sai Pal Base Camp. Exploring a day around the valley then we conjoin to Lampato. At last the final part of trek beyond Lampato, crossing Khadikhana Lagna, we descent to Khada, Lama Chaur, Raya, and Karang. From Karang, following Humla Karnali we terminate our trek in Simikot.
